Citing Books

Books with one or two authors:

Author, A. A., & Author, B. B. (year). Title of the book. City of Publisher, NY: Publisher Name.

Books with three to five authors:

Author, A.A., Author, B.B., & Author, C.C. (year). Title of book. City of Publisher, NY: Publisher Name.

Journal Articles

Author, A., & Author, B. (year). Title of the article. Title of the Journal 45(2), 10-36.

 

Online Sources

Article in an Internet Periodical

Author, A. A., & Author, B. B. (Date of publication). Title of article. Title of journal, volume number(issue number if available). Retrieved month day, year, from http://webaddress.com.

Part of Nonperiodical Internet Document

Author, A. A., & Author, B. B. (Date of publication). Title of article. In Title of book or larger document (chapter or section number). Retrieved from http://webaddress.com.

Notes for online articles: if there is no date available, you can substitute the date of publication witnh (n.d.) for "no date"
